Software Defined Networking (SDN)

The SDN network is a modern architecture for making networks smart, defined by separating the control and data planes and through external control of data through a software logic layer called controller. With this feature, the SDN network will be able to change the method for sending traffic to different spots and provide the possibility of automating the decision-making via programming interfaces. Amin Optical Communications Technology (known as FANA), a leading provider of optical network equipment, has designed and implemented an SDN transmission network successfully. Through modification of the ONOS controller and its connection to the company's equipment, FANA's SDN transmission network has been implemented, launched, and developed.
